LIFT Network

(Local and Indigenous Food Systems Transformation)

The LIFT Network’s primary goal is to facilitate the growth and impact of Indigenous and local food systems worldwide. What sets it apart is their dynamic and diverse alliance of organisations across Nigeria, Brazil, Kenya, Canada, and Fiji. They are a beacon of collaboration, actively engaged in grassroots projects that extend beyond borders. LIFT is not merely a network; it's a collective commitment to elevating local and Indigenous knowledge systems.

Its unique approach involves creating Solution Labs, collaborative spaces where innovative ideas and community-based food system solutions are shared and developed. We aim to actively engage with like-minded organisations, expanding our network and creating more Solution Labs to reach additional Indigenous and local communities globally.

The Rockefeller Foundation supported LIFT's purpose by funding pilot projects across five countries, elevating community-led solutions to food system challenges.

It is through the LIFT Network that we received funding from the Rockefeller Foundation for our The Food System Solutions Hub Pilot project and were invited to participate in the Regen10 Listening Circles.
